Tharsus Chief Technology Officer Dave Swan will deliver a talk on the challenges and opportunities of Advanced Machines and Robots on day two of the Robotics and Automation Exhibition in Milton Keynes this week.
Starting on the 10th October, the Robotics and Automation Exhibition brings together robotics, automation and future technologies from all industries and offers visitors the opportunity to discover how they can improve efficiency, reduce costs and gain competitive advantage.
Speaking on the challenges and opportunities of advanced machines and robots, Dave Swan will describe how disruptive technologies in the era of Industry 4.0 are changing the way we live and work.
Highlighting the opportunities these technological breakthroughs represent for companies to optimise their operations, Swan will also reflect on how integrating them into existing processes and systems can be a challenge. The common pitfalls that companies fall into will be addressed as well as pointers on how to leverage such new technologies with minimal risk whilst still delivering commercial optimum.

Dave Swan’s presentation will start at 11:00am on Thursday 11th October, in the Seminar Theatre, Arena MK, Milton Keynes. The exhibition’s comprehensive conference programme will also include presentations from industry leaders such as Amazon, Ocado and DHL, as well as innovators in robotics technology such as ABB, SP Technology and Dematic.
