Good news for Tharsus Group last week as we learned that our CEO has been shortlisted for a prestigious regional prize.
Brian Palmer has been named as a finalist in the 2018 EY Entrepreneur of the Year programme, which is now its 20th year of recognising successful entrepreneurs who are making a positive impact on their society and the economy.
Brian has been recognised alongside representatives of 19 other businesses from the North East, North West and Yorkshire, in the ‘Transformational Leader’ category for identifying challenges to the business and being instrumental in overcoming them. Other categories recognise different qualities, including ‘Sustained Excellence’ and ‘Disruptors’.
In total 97 UK finalists have been chosen and will compete for titles in four regions; Scotland, the North of England, the Midlands and London & South. The awards ceremony for the North will be held in Manchester on the 28th of June.
Regional winners will then move on to the UK finals, held in London in November, to compete for the coveted title of EY Entrepreneur of the year 2018.
Good luck for the awards Brian and congratulations to all the finalists!
