Light Diffusion Technology

Tharsus Vision is committed to being at the forefront of light diffusion technology. This has produced two major lighting solutions for the advertising market.

Reflex

Reflex lighting is a Patent approved light diffusion technology which is integrated into the diffuser panel which the poster sits on.

It consists of a specifically designed matrix of print which aligns with each of the fluorescent tubes.

This panel is then laminated with an 80 micron diffuser film, which produces specific reflective and diffusive qualities.

This arrangement produces an enhanced light distribution through the poster, removing much of the 'striping produced by the tubes.

Reflex panels are a cheaper alternative to edge lit panels, increase the candela per watt efficiency of the unit and are easily retro fitted into units already in the field.

Apollo Lens

Apollo lens is an extruded 'Reverse Fresnel' lens, aimed at evenly distributing the light throughout the light box.

Used where larger format boxes make the application of Reflex difficult, this lens clips over the face of the fluorescent tubes.

Easily retro fitted into existing light boxes, this light diffusion technology is very cost effective and requires little or no further secondary diffusion. Apollo is an easy option for customers to quickly and easily take advantage of enhanced lighting systems.
