CBS Italian Rail

CBS Outdoor S.r.l., based in Milan, had won the prestigious contract to supply the Italian National Railways network. This was represented by Cento Stazioni, the main intercity routes and RFI, the regional rail network.

Design Brief

The units had to have a "modern" feel and be aesthetically pleasing to blend with the station modernisation program:-

Slim wall mounted units with static displays no more than 50mm in depth and slim freestanding units to compliment the range
IP65 rated
High lumen output
Virtually stripe free
Edge to edge glazing
EMC compliant
Energy efficient
