We’re excited to announce that two of our engineers have been shortlisted for the British Engineering Excellence Awards!
Tharsus is celebrating two of its team being shortlisted for the British Engineering Excellence Awards.
The two engineers nominated are Tharsus CTO, Dave Swan (pictured left in image) in the Design Engineer of the Year category, which recognises the all-round contribution of engineers to the success of their employers and Liam Harrison (pictured right) in the Young Designer of the Year category, which recognises exceptional engineers under 28 years of age.
The awards, which aim to demonstrate and promote the quality of engineering design within the UK, will take place on Thursday 5th October 2017 at The Honourable Artillery Company in the City of London.
Liam said: “There’s a great team here at Tharsus and we get to work on some amazing engineering projects. It really is a team effort though and it’s only through the support of my colleagues that this award could be possible. I am proud to have been shortlisted for this accolade.”
Dave said: “The British Engineering Excellence Awards always has an impressive shortlist going into the finals, so it is without doubt a great achievement that we have been shortlisted twice.”
Tharsus CEO, Brian Palmer, said: “We’re excited to have had two of our brilliant team shortlisted in this prestigious awards programme against such strong competition from across the UK. This is testament to the skills and expertise of our whole team in delivering high quality engineering solutions to meet our customers’ often complex and challenging requirements. We are certainly looking forward to the finals in October.”
