Professionally
My role at Tharsus is that of Design Engineer; a mix of concept work, prototyping, design development and detailing with a little graphics thrown in too. It’s great to have a varied role; it keeps things fresh and interesting and constantly presents new challenges.  Meeting these challenges surrounded by a capable team that all pull in the same direction makes it a pretty good company to work with as well as providing me with valued personal progression. Before Tharsus, I’d had a wide range of design positions and locations, from consumer product design, transport, structural packaging with some of London’s top design consultancies, freelance work and even having a prior stint at Tharsus.

Personally
Outside of work I like to spend a lot of my time in kendo dojos. I find many lessons and parallels in kendo that I use to improve aspects of my life outside of the dojo. As well as fitness gains, it gives me the opportunity to travel and meet new people. If I’m not hitting people with sticks, I’ll be spending time with friends or family.
