Professionally
I am a BEng Hons degree qualified Mechanical Engineer. I have worked in various roles within the Design, Manufacture and Support of Construction Equipment for companies such as Caterpillar and UpRight. I have also worked for one of the Premier Classic Aston Martin restoration companies as Workshop / Technical Manager. I enjoy solving problems and making improvements where possible.

My role at Tharsus is to work with the Design Team to build the prototypes and first off production units, then make improvements as necessary to optimise the assembly process whilst ensuring the best quality of the finished products. We work with a wide range of technologies, integrating them all into finished products to match our Customers ideas. I get great satisfaction from taking a design to a finished product and seeing it working as it should.  

Personally
Away from work, my passion is Vintage Machinery. During the summer months we are away most weekends with my 1906 Steam Traction Engine at exhibitions and shows. During the winter months I spend most of my spare time on maintenance and improvements. I also try to fit in time for photography and spending time in the countryside with my family.
