Transport for London

We have produced a range of variable message sign enclosures, CCTV displays, components, and control system enclosures for use in various Transport for London environments including road side, tube, bus stops, and train stations.

Products for these environments normally require the use of aluminium and stainless steel, with high quality welding and finishing that is both of a high visual quality and extremely durable. This is ideal work for Tharsus as it utilises an extensive range of our process skills.

Client Problem

Our customer was preparing a bid for a large rollout of passenger information displays on London buses. They needed both an accurate cost model and photographic sales aids.

Tharsus Solution

We modelled an enclosure that met the tender specification and added the electronic display that our client intended to use. We then used photoshop to produce realistic images that could be used in the bid.

Result

Our client was able to produce his bid quickly and for a fraction of the cost of manufacturing a prototype and fitting it to the bus.
