Tharsus wins Investment in Training Award

Tharsus Engineering has just been awarded a converted Investment in Training Award by the South Tyneside Enterprise Partnership (STEP).
The award recognises companies that "demonstrate significant business improvement through the training and development of their workforce".
Over the past year Tharsus have increased investment in training by over 38%.
Tharsus have invested significantly in training for many of their engineering processes including welder training and software training for laser cutting and CNC punching.
Other areas of the business to have improved are the staff appraisal system, training for supervisors and management, and support functions.
