Tharsus Engineering was approached by BT due to our track record of innovation and understanding of the exchange environment.

Client Problem

The existing telecoms cable management system that was employed to manage copper and fibre transmission, along with DC process power cables, was robust but expensive and slow to install.

Tharsus Solution

Tharsus lead the development of a new telecom management system which has delivered an 80% reduction in installation time while maintaining cable capacity and separation.

The addition of integrated shielded AC cable management has also further reduced the installation time and improved uniformity of build.

Result

Our customer has seen significant cost savings, installation quality gains and improved uniformity of installation across the UK.
