The ITM Power HBox PV uses a high efficiency proton-exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyser.

The unit is designed for direct coupling to a PV array of up to 1,300W peak power output, producing up to 0.21kg/day H2 at 15 ba. Providing an off-grid solution for those interested in generating truly 'green' hydrogen for charging hydrogen stores in stationary applications.

A critical feature of the product operation is the need for thermal management, to expel heat in the middle of the day, whilst maintaining the cores temperature during the hours of darkness.

Tharsus are delighted to have been an integral part of the team delivering this innovative product to market.
